Mercedes-Benz E400 (W124)

A new year and what better way to start than with my favourite old generation of Mercedes, the W124, this time with a V8. On the driving side it feels like a comfortable sofa gliding over the road, letting you just enjoy the ride. What always amazes me is how the interior still looks almost new after more than 30 years, something modern cars rarely achieve, and with fully loaded features like electric seats and a powered sunroof. One of the most interesting details is the wiper that can clear the entire windshield in one sweep, unlike modern cars that use two wipers and still don’t cover as well.
