The Volkswagen Passat R36 B6 is not something you see for sale very often and that is exactly why it caught my attention. When I found this particular piece I did not hesitate and decided to document it while I had the chance. The combination of a practical family sedan with a VR6 engine gives it a unique character that feels different from anything modern, more raw and mechanical. While shooting I focused on capturing that balance between everyday usability and hidden performance, something that makes this car stand out even years after it was produced. It is one of those cars that might not be flashy at first glance but once you understand what it is, it becomes something special.
